Make your Bus Charter carbon neutral

Since this month, our customers can offset the CO2 emissions of their travel directly with us.

Measuring the CO2 footprint and achieving carbon neutrality is becoming an important factor for more and more companies. With us, you can now have your bus rental certified as climate neutral and integrate it into your carbon footprint. Or you simply want to do something good for the climate when you travel with your group by bus?

The Long-Distance Coach is one of the most environmentally friendly means of transport. Already the decision for a coach instead of an airplane or several passenger cars is a good decision for the climate. Nevertheless, an average coach (32 to 58 seats) consumes 1.4kg of carbon dioxide per kilometer. The cost of offsetting 1,000kg of carbon dioxide is 19 euros. We base this on an average compensation project of our partner Climatepartner.

The compensation will contribute in either one of the below listed projects by Climatepartner:

• Biomass in Soacha, Colombia
• Social Impact in India
• Regional Tree Planting + Carbon Offset in Germany
• Clean Cookstoves in Nyungwe, Rwanda
• Clean Oceans, worldwide
• Wind Energy in Brazil

It works very simply:
You want to make your tour carbon neutral? Please contact us directly during the booking process. We calculate the CO2 emissions for the planned kilometers of the trip and add the contribution to be paid for the compensation to your invoice. After the trip is completed, we will recalculate the kilometers and update the amount if necessary. After payment and the end of the service, you will receive an official certificate from Climatepartner for your carbon neutral ride.

Example:
A bus rental for a 49seater coach on one day with a trip from Hamburg airport to Bremen and back comes to 280km. This amounts to approximately 392kg of carbon dioxide. The compensation with Climatepartner therefore costs 7,44 Euro.

This is a free service from us. We do not add any fees to the compensation. The compensation costs are passed on collectively to Climatepartner.
