Our bus company recommends "Azzurro," which is situated on Rossetti Square, not far from another ice cream shop well known to visitors but less well known, Fenocchio. The consistency of the items used is much better at Azzurro, and their cones are home-made, it has nothing to do with taste!

A more casual street food is Socca, a kind of cross between flatbread and pancake, made with chickpea flower and sold by vendors in the old quarter. Ratatouille also comes from this part of the world.

You can walk to the southwest side where Nice rolls out to the distance next to the Baie des Anges, and even the Colline du Château looks low.
